Witnessing the northern lights, called Aurora Borealis, is not only thrilling but also a very impressive experience. In Finnish Lapland, you are most likely to see the lights from September to April. A very popular aurora tour contains stories and facts told sitting around the campfire. The perfect place for this tour is on the southern end of Lake Jerisjärvi, near our luxury holiday homes! During the time of the strong solar wind, Pallas (about 20 minutes by car from the house) is a wonderful place to go snowshoeing in the late evening to watch the "show".
