Lapland – Canada-feeling in northern Europe
The area north of the Arctic Circle is referred to as Lapland. It consists of Norway, Sweden, Finland and parts of Russia. The luxury vacation homes of Lappland Dream are situated at the Jerisjärvi Lake in Finnish Westlapland, close to the Swedish boarder. By the way, the Jerisjärvi Lake was just recently named the most beautiful lake in Lapland – we can only approve of this opinion fully!
Lapland captivates with its different seasonal changes. In June and July, midsummer (night) not only illumes the day but also the night. In August and September, the “ruska” enchants the country’s beautiful nature with colors that remind of the Indian Summer. In October, the “blue season” begins and starts to emerge everything into an endless seeming white winter-wonder land. The Polar Light contributes to the magic that during this time until January is enchanting and breathtakingly beautiful. Once the polar winter is over by the end of January, the slightly warmer climate evolves again.
Although, Lappland Dream seems to appear as a completely different and almost deserted world, all areas contain a very sophisticated infrastructure and all the other amenities of a healthy environment, as we know it: clean air, fresh water and this breathtaking silence welcome its visitors warmly. The stress and hectic from back home soon will be forgotten.
